Selby (11/2) looks the bet in World Snooker Championships

The World Snooker championships get under way at Sheffield on Saturday with defending champion John Higgins cueing off against Matthew Stevens.
The betting is led by Ronnie O’Sullivan who gets a 3/1 quote and many pundits feel that he has the easiest of draws. But which Ronnie O’Sullivan will turn up at the Crucible?
Mark Selby (11/2) who finished ruuner-up last year is a man on a mission and is the in-form player going into the championships, havingrecently won the Masters.
The same final as last year is priced at 33/1 and is worth a pound or two.
Of the home challenge Joe Swail gets a 200/1 quote while Ken Doherty gets a 25/1 pricing, but Selby looks the bet.

Selby is a goner already!! I got 33/1 Stephen Hendry last week in Ladbrokes (was 50's with McGranaghans). I just thought that was far to bi a price for a 7 times Champion, although he was very lucky in the first round!!

punters guide

I did a bet in the football yesterday that landed me £7666. I did the bet online with Sky Bet (it was actually a friends account and he did the bet for me) so I have no docket but all I will say is that I was told about this bet by the friend. He phoned me up yesterday morning to tell me to get as much money as I could because he has a bet lined up that will not fail. He told me that Sky Bet were offering 8/15 for there to be less than 3 goals in the Chelsea-Liverpool game. He convinced me that this was a super bet and I parted with £5000 on his advice. I don't know much about gambling myself but the mate is an expert (if there is such a thing). Anyway, I wasn't the only one who did this bet as according to my mate half of his workplace and their mates were on too!!

The big money was made in west belfast on saturday with all sorts of bets going on d.c but bookies should not be allowed to stop taking bets on teams 2 hours before kick off.i got word of the d.c game and the amounts of money going on d.c(inside info, footy players, alcohol and pool matches do not mix especially when 1 pool player plays for _ _ _ _ _ _ _ - _ _ _ _ _ _ soccer team as well.Anyway 5 bookies i had to visit in the west at 1 o clock saturday afternoon before one would take my bet and it was only £300 quid.
