Sean Graham Cheltenham Movers
Paul Nicholls Arkle favourite Noland has been clipped in to 11/4 from 3/1 - while Forpaddytheplasterer now vies for favouritism with Aigle D'or for the Ballymore Property's Novice Hurdle (6/1 to 5/1 joint favs) and Franchoek has received good support in the Triumph Hurdle and is now 2/1 from 5/2.

After Ernie Els getting back to winning ways at the weekend he's 7/1 to win this weeks POD Championship and after wins at the Sail Open and Johnnie Walker Classic Mark Brown goes to the Malaysian Open trying to emulate the great Tiger Woods (the only player to have won 3 tournaments in a row)! He's 25/1 to match Woods record this week.

With the return to Champions League
tomorrow Sean Graham offer AC Milan,Barcelona,Sevilla and Man Utd all to win in 90 Mins at 4/1

Kieren Fallon has failed in his final appeal against the 18-month worldwide ban he received from France Galop in January for a second positive drugs test.

The six-times champion jockey made one last attempt to three judges d'appel, who are members of a 15-strong panel of experienced racing professionals, in Paris last week.

'The initial ban has been confirmed. We had official confirmation today,' said Herve Naggar, Fallon's agent in France.

'It is still 18 months, but I do not know the exact dates. It's a very long time. Of course I am disappointed but we knew it would be very hard to change the ban.'

Fallon incurred the suspension after testing positive for a banned substance following his winning ride aboard Sue Magnier's Myboycharlie in the Prix Morny at Deauville on 19 August.

He only began riding in early June after completing a six-month ban for another positive test. With Johnny Murtagh having been brought in to replace Fallon as first jockey to the Coolmore operation and trainer Aidan O'Brien, Fallon has renewed his links with Michael Stoute, for whom he will ride work this season.

HORSE RACING IS CRUEL! Most people regard horse racing as a harmless sport in which the animals are willing participants who thoroughly enjoy the thrill. The truth is that, behind the scenes, lies a story of immense suffering.

Approximately 15,000 foals are born into the closely-related British and Irish racing industries each year, yet only a third go on to become racers. Those horses who do not make the grade may be slaughtered for meat or repeatedly change hands in a downward spiral of neglect. Of those horses who do go on to race, around 375 are raced to death every year.

Beneath its glamorous façade, commercial horse racing is a ruthless industry motivated by financial gain and prestige. Cruelty? You can bet on it!

see how many of theses horses killed you can recognise and how many you have backed before. They are all dead now......

STOP THE CRUELTY----ban killing cows , pigs ,chickens, fish, ban putting fertilisers into the soil as this effects our water supply, ban boxing or u.f.c,kick boxing, martial arts its all barbaric.
In fact STOP THE CRUELTY suppose you dont drive a car that sends fumes into the atmosphere or you have never smoked a cigarette or lit a fire in your life.

gerard, keep up the good work on the blog.dont let one animal right activist throw a spanner in the works.if only he knew how well the horses were reared and treated but maybe he is to busy destroying the atmoshere and our planet for our kids

joe.t...north belfast

how well horses are treated? you mean by being kicked, whipped, made to run over exhausting distances jumping fences? You "racing fans" only see what they want you to see, if only you knew the half of what went on behind the scenes with old horses that are no use to their owners anymore, horses that aren't good enough to race, horses that pick up an injury that is just too costly and not worth while fixing. if you enjoy seeing horses break their backs, necks, legs, collapse in exhaustion and have heart attcks for your own enjoyment then you are a sick person.
you guy's need a reality check and a visit to gamblers anonymous wouldn't be a bad idea.

bet you a fiver we dont need to go to gamblers anonymous.in fact i will lay you 11/2 that i dont need to go.

I agree. It's looking good for the English teams but in my opinion the only 2 teams from England in with a shout of winning are Man Utd and Liverpool. I cannot for the life of me see Chavski or the Gooners winning even though the Gonners looked brilliant last night. I say Liverpool have a chance because they seem to be a totally different side in Europe and I wouldn't rule them out but I would say it is primarily between Man Utd and Barca.

Anonymous said...

its all about opinions yid but i disagree.i think any 1 out of man u,arsenal, chelsea and barca will win it.definately the most open champions league in years.

come on the chelsea h/t f/t tonight
