Cheltenham MOVERS

Binnocular was well touted for the Triumph prior to his Kempton run on Saturday and although he made hard work of it he has been trimmed to 7/1 from 8s.
Beau Michael went into my notebook at Christmas for the race and he won his third consective race at Fairyhouse and is now 16/1 from 25s.
Piegon Island earned a 20/1 quote for the Supreme Novices' and Ballymore Properties Hurdle following his oh so easy win at Kempton on Saturday.
Way De Solzen is out to 16/1 from 9s for the World Hurdle with after coming second at Fontwell on Sunday while winner Lough Derg has been clipped to 14/1 from 20s.
Galient won as expected on his hurdling bow and gets a 33/1 quote for the Ballymore Properties Novices' Hurdle.
The mystery punter who took William Hill for a million has still not called in to collect his winnings.. he's probably still wondering how he's going to spend it. Will he change his bets from 50p to a £1 after his million pound windafall? somehow I don't think so

yid army...what about your promise on friday.haha.

i bow down and admit spurs were the better side.hate to admit it,but actually cheered the yids on but what was anelka doing playing left midfield and joe cole on the bench?

micky ginge

Anonymous said...

I had to come back to hear your pathetic excuses ginger!

Anelka on the left, Anelka down the centre it wouldn't have mattered! The fact that Alan Hutton fitted the big Frenchman into his pocket, as Ledders did with Drogba, as Chimbonda did with SWP, as Zokora did with Essien etc.

We made them look average like we did with Arsenal.

Anonymous said...

i agree but drogba in kings pocket mmmmmmmmm???? maybe not but the best team did win.what a bad break for the arsenal kid.utd must be favourites now with arsenals injuries.what a bench utd had on saturday.they would have got on any other league team.strongest squad they have ever assembled and carrick(x yid) is starting to pull the strings in midfield.

micky ginge

Ginger

Drogba offered very little bar his free-kick that our keeper made a mess off and a few moves that would have gotten him 10pts on Strictly Come Dancing. King played him out of the game.

Martin Taylor's tackle on Eduardo was a bad one in my opinion but whether he meant it is questionable. I've seen worse tackles though (Ben Thatcher on Pedro Mende) but agains we hear Arsene Whinger coming out with these pathetic, heat of the moment comments. I think the Arsenal chairman got a hold of him shortly afterwards and told him to retract the comments.

Oh, and £18.5m for Carrick. Thank you very much!!

Anonymous said...

has gallas lost the plot?

kicked lumps out of nani the week before then tries to run at the crowd and kicks the hoarding then sits on the ground crying because they conceded a penalty.
must be terrible top earn 65 grand a week.

Anonymous said...

18.5 for carrick...good business for both parties the way he is playing now, pushing us towards another tilt at the treble.I think even you will admit he left to challenge for major honours.

that gets the yids into the uefa cup next year again so well done.would be nice to see everton and vill push pool all the way for 4th place tho

micky ginge

Anonymous said...

Of course Carrick left to win trophies but I think the extra 20 odd grand in his salary was a small factor too!!

That is our objective achieved this season. After our poor start in the league we can now give the likes of Darren Bent, Adel Taraabt, Kevin Prince Boateng, Jamie O'Hara, Gilbert etc. a good run in the league and concentrate on trying to win the UEFA Cup1

Ginger, if only you were over 18 I could have made that bet with you!! Shame, though that win yesterday was pricless!!

Anyway, I just posted today to hear what crap Ginger had to say about Spurs' glorious victory yesterday.

I'll leave you with a few horse selections.....

NAP - SILVER SISTER 3.00 @ Hereford
The top weight will be hard to beat but this horse is getting lots of weight of him

NB - HUGUENOT 2.50 @ Plumpton
Ran a decent race last time out when very keen and the drop to a sharp 2m will suit

TREBLE - MICKMACKMAGOOLE 3.30 @ Hereford
Oh Crick is going for a 4 timer and will be hard to beat but is up a further 7lbs from last time. The selection has a feather weight and ran a brilliant race at Cheltenahm last time before falling when in command. Compensation awaits!

Anonymous said...

yid - i am going to do these 3 horses.
3x £10 doubles and a tenner treble.

your kneck is on the line here yid boy

You may have done your money there girls!!

HARRY TRICKER looks the one to be on in the 3.50. Both horses are closley matched on flat form but I reckon his experience, the 9lb he's receiving for being a younger horse than Cutting Crew and possibly his ability to handle quicker ground better sway the vote in his favour.

It is between the two though!!

leave gerard alond sid army.keep your paws off.he is ours and we follow his selections.we have our leftover money on cutting crew. it will win, wait and see

The Michael Hourigan trained Mossbank now leads the betting for the Ryanair Chase is now a 4/1 shot from 5s – he ran second to Denman at Christmas and at the moment looks a solid bet for that race.
I see jockey Tony McCoy is a 6/1 shot to be the top festival jockey – those odds are dreadful considering the injury he is coming back from. Ruby Walsh is odds-on at 10/11 to be top jock.

Some specials floating about
How many winners will AP McCoy ride at the 2008 Cheltenham Festival?
0 3/1, 1 5/2, 2 7/2, 3 4/1, 4 7/1, 5 or more 16/1.

Tuesday Selections:
Big Bertha (4.40) Nap
Cathedral Rock (3.50) double
Marshalls Run (2.50) treble

Anonymous said...

Poor racing today!! Selections....

NAP - TOMS TOYBOX 3.10 @ Catterick
Would prefer a bit of cut in the ground but should handle the quick conditions.

NB - DUNDRIDGE NATIVE 2.50 @ Leicester
Looked set to score in a similar race last time out when unseating his rider at the last. Should get compo today.

TREBLE - SHERIFF ROSCOE 3.50 @ Leicester
Won his last race gamely but was later disqualified. Should be hard to beat today especially with one of the best and most under rated jockey's on board, Dominic Elsworth.

Ginger

The last time I disagreed with a tip was yesterday, remind me who won the race??

Tension Mounts is a dodgy bet especially at 7/4. It was beat last time out by a Mark Johnston horse so he should know what it takes to beat him and the fact that he sends one of his newcomers out against it speaks volumes to me!
Have your 50p on Tension Mounts anyway.

Anonymous said...

yidarmy,is that a chip on your shoulder.
It seems whatever anyone posts on this blog you disagree with it,even a seasoned punter like Gerard.Let todays tip ride without putting punters off it for a change.
You can have your chance when you hear of a tip.

Mackers----Ford Plant

I'm not saying Tension Mounts won't win, I'm just saying that I would rather be on the Johnston newcomer.

Can you planks not make a decision for yourselves??

This is why we are bloggers for mate.. I think I say this for all the bloggers on this site.. any information is welcome, we all trying to get a few quid up before the festival -

I can't recall one discussion on it about any sport. Whenever you post a comment some muppet has a pop at you. Is it a discussion/opinion blog or just for clampets to waste time. As far as I'm concerned it's their comments that should be banned.

Anyway, bitch amongst yourselves there. I'm off!!

Sean Graham latest movers :

After Nicky Henderson's upbeat report on Khyber Kim progress we have trimmed his price into 10/1 from 12/1.
Tom Segal and Pricewise has tipped upped the W.Mullins trained Fiveforthree and he is still available at 12/1. Fiveforthree is looking to give the Irish back to back victories in this years opening race of the festival.

With the news that Time Electric will miss the festival Apt Approach and Zaarito now share favouritism for the Bumper at 4/1. Word is rife that Davy Russell will ride Zaarito at Cheltenham so don't forget he'll be at the preview night in the Europa next Monday' so why not come along to hear his , Nina Carberry and Alan King views on all their festival hopes.

On the golfing front Tiger Woods has shortened up to win the first major of the year, US Masters to 6/5 from 13/8. Who can stop him? He has now won 7 of his last 8 tournaments on the European and US tours.
